(Xinhua News Agency, Beiping, September 11) Chairman Mao Zedong of the Communist Party of China has just received a congratulatory telegram from Blas Roca, General Secretary of the Central Committee of the Popular Socialist Party of Cuba in Central America, on the 28th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China. Thank you for your congratulations on the 28th anniversary of the Communist Party of China. China and Cuba are two countries far apart in distance, yet the fundamental objectives of the struggles of the two peoples are indeed identical. This circumstance has forged an inseparable international friendship between the two peoples, just like the international friendship among the proletariat and working people of all countries in the world.
May the brave Cuban people and the members of the Popular Socialist Party of Cuba achieve victory in their struggle against the aggression of U.S. imperialism!
May the common cause of the peoples of all countries in opposing U.S. imperialism achieve victory!
