No foreign country or the United Nations has the right to interfere in China's internal affairs

(February 13, 1949)

No foreign government or United Nations organization has any right whatsoever to interfere in China's internal affairs. The suggestion by the Australian Foreign Minister for United Nations interference in China's internal affairs is absurd and an insult to the Chinese people. The shameless talk by Sun Ke, Pan Gongzhan, and their ilk, spokesmen for the Kuomintang reactionary traitorous clique, merely expresses their consistent traitorous stand. After its January 8th request for interference to the governments of the United States, Britain, France, and the Soviet Union failed, the Nanjing Kuomintang traitorous government is still dreaming of new international interference. But any such attempt, no matter where it comes from or under what name it is made, can only meet with the resolute opposition of the Chinese people.
