[1] This is a telegram of condolence sent by Mao Zedong to the family of Mr. Feng Yufang. Feng Yufang, a native of Qiongya in Guangdong Province, was engaged for many years in cultural work and the democratic movement in Hong Kong. Feng Yufang’s younger brother was General Feng Baiju, Commander of the Qiongya Military District of the People’s Liberation Army.
