No foreign government or United Nations organization has the slightest right to interfere in China’s internal affairs. The Australian Foreign Minister’s suggestion that the United Nations should intervene in China’s internal affairs is both absurd and an insult to the Chinese people. The shameful remarks made by Kuomintang reactionaries and traitorous elements such as Sun Ke and Pan Gongzhan merely reaffirm their long-standing pro-imperialist, anti-national stance. After its January 8 appeal to the governments of the United States, Britain, France, and the Soviet Union for intervention was rejected, the Nanjing Kuomintang puppet regime continues to harbor dreams of new international interference. However, any such attempt, regardless of who initiates it or under what pretext it is launched, will inevitably encounter the resolute opposition of the 258 million Chinese people.
