Reply to Fang Fang’s Telegram[1]

At present, it is appropriate for our main forces to concentrate in the Yangtze River valley to annihilate the main forces of the Kuomintang, which will make the occupation and development of the southern provinces much easier in the future. Moreover, this moment is not far off. You should rely on the existing foundation to develop step by step and prepare to welcome the arrival of the main forces. Regarding the need to send a certain number of cadres southward, this is necessary, and the relevant departments shall be instructed to study the matter and prepare for their dispatch.
