Dear Comrades of the Central Committee of the Japanese Communist Party:

Having learned that Comrade Tokuda Kyuichi, leader of the Japanese people, has been the victim of a despicable assassination attempt by the reactionaries, I express the utmost indignation and hereby extend my condolences to Comrade Tokuda Kyuichi.
