Letter to Liu Shaoqi on Examining the
Instructions on Land Reform in the Newly
Liberated Regions
(February 5, 1948)
Comrade [Liu] Shaoqi:
Since the troops of Su Yu and Chen [Geng] and Xie [Fuzhi]1 are resting and
being reconsolidated and holding an officers’ meeting, will you please examine
and comment on my instructions to Su Yu on January 22 so I will be able to send
the instructions to them around February 10? I look forward to hearing from you.
