To the Jin-Cha-Ji Central Bureau and Others[1]

(November 17, 1947)

The telegram sent to the Central Committee on Shenyou[2] jointly signed by the five members of your Women’s Committee has been received. The Central Committee has already replied on Youyu[3], agreeing to the future work policy for women proposed by you. These two telegrams are now forwarded to all central bureaus and sub-bureaus for reference, so as to draw greater attention from them to women’s work.

[1] This is the main content of Mao Zedong’s telegram to the Jin-Cha-Ji Central Bureau to be transmitted to Yang Zhihua. Yang Zhihua was then head of the Women’s Department of the Jin-Ji-Lu-Yu Central Bureau of the Communist Party of China.
