(July 29, 1947)

In the first month of operations of the second year, apart from the annihilation of a portion of the enemy in Shandong and other areas, our Liu-Deng Army, from Wu-Dong[2] to Wu-Jian[3] in the Yuncheng, Juye, and Dingtao region, through uninterrupted and continuous operations, annihilated nine and a half brigades of enemy regular forces and four division headquarters, killing, wounding, and capturing over fifty thousand enemy troops. The achievements are very great. This is hereby specially ordered as a commendation.
