To Chen Geng, Xie Fuzhi, Han Jun, and Others[1]

(June 25, 1947)

(1) Your column remains in the Quwo-Yicheng area[2] for concealed rest and reorganization, awaiting orders. Wait until Chen Geng comes to the Central Committee to decide the date of movement, and only then shall the troops move. Because the main force of Hu Zongnan’s army is still in the Yan’an-Ganquan-Fu County area[3], and Peng and Xi are currently attacking the Three Borders, if you move out too early, it may cause Hu Zongnan’s army to reinforce Yulin prematurely. (2) Chen Geng is to come to the Central Committee immediately.
