Telegram to Chen Geng, Xie Fuzhi, and Others[1]

(April 14, 1947)

After occupying Quwo, move the main force southward and, as opportunities arise, attack and capture the various strongholds on the outskirts of Yuncheng. If possible, seize Yuncheng and all the cities in the entire triangular area, extending as far as Fenglingdu, thereby threatening Guanzhong. This would be very good.
