To Lin Biao and Others[1]

(November 1, 1946)

In addition to the five divisions from North Manchuria making a detour to advance southward, please consider adding one or two divisions (brigades) from West Manchuria to concentrate their operations, which will be more conducive to continuous warfare; after the enemy has been dispersed and fatigued, the main forces of the two columns in South Manchuria should concentrate their operations to destroy the enemy one by one.
