To Wang Shusheng, Liu Changyi and Others

(September 19, 1946)

(1) We are very pleased to learn that you have occupied Caodian and wiped out an enemy battalion. It is hoped that you will issue a commendation for this. (2) It is hoped that you will encourage all units to fight more victorious battles of this kind. Each time a regiment or a battalion of the peace preservation corps is wiped out, or a company or a platoon of the regular army is annihilated, it will boost the morale of the army and the people, help solve the problems of clothing and food supplies, and facilitate the establishment of base areas.
