Your association abhors civil war and calls for peace. The propositions you have put forward strike at the heart of the matter, weighing the pros and cons with great insight. To pursue independence, democracy, and peace has been our party’s fundamental policy for nation-building after the war. As for resolving the current crisis, the immediate step is to halt the civil war and resume political consultations. All disputes should be settled through political means. However, the warmongers refuse to follow this course, causing the civil war to continue to escalate and the situation to grow increasingly grave. Our party will work in unison with overseas Chinese compatriots and the people throughout the country to turn the tide and steadfastly uphold our policy of peace and democracy until victory is achieved.
