I fully concur with Comrade Xi Zhongxun’s views. In the old liberated areas across North and Central China where similar situations exist, close attention must be paid to their correction. Where “left” errors have been committed, the leading organs must not delay for long in rectifying them; with proper handling, such errors can usually be corrected within a few weeks. However, when making corrections, care must be taken to ensure that the lower levels do not mistakenly conclude, because of the effort to correct these “left” errors, that no further action is required.
