Reply to Luo Ronghuan’s Telegram[1]

(June 9, 1945)

Your telegram[2] received. Sorry to learn that your illness has not improved; I am very concerned. It is proposed to send Comrade Lin Biao to Shandong, but a final decision has not yet been made. A decision will be made and communicated by telegram in due course. You may, during your convalescence and as your condition permits, provide guidance on major policies and principles. Assign more of the work to Comrade Li Yu.
