The situation in central Henan has not yet been opened up on a large scale. It will still take some time for Wang Shusheng and Dai Jiying to advance into southern Henan. The forces of the Fifth Division in southern Henan should maintain the status quo. In order to strengthen Henan, the Taihang [Military Region] has already been ordered to send another contingent (two thousand men) to cross the Yellow River and move south.
