Reply to Deng Xiaoping’s Telegram[1]

(December 25, 1944)

The reply concerning the ten questions[2] was received long ago, and its content is extremely good. In addition to being copied and circulated for reading among many comrades here, it has also been forwarded to various localities for reference. I fully agree with your line and hope you will persist in carrying it through. Please also convey to the responsible comrades of the Taihang District Party Committee that I am most grateful to them for providing me with the extremely useful summary report on this year’s production.

[1] This is the main content of Mao Zedong’s telegram in reply to Deng Xiaoping.

[2] Refers to the ten questions which Mao Zedong, in his telegram of July 28 to Li Xiannian, Rao Shushi, Luo Ronghuan, Huang Jing, Deng Xiaoping, Cheng Zihua, and Lin Feng, requested each locality to answer.
