Letter to Luo Ronghuan1
(February 8, 1944)
Comrade Ronghuan:
The comrades on the Central Committee are all concerned about your illness.
Because the illness as described in the telegram is very serious, we replied in our
telegram that you should receive medical treatment in Shandong. If that is
impossible, you may go to Shanghai, but there are certain risks. What exactly is
your current situation? Is it completely impossible to treat your illness in
Shandong? And is it completely impossible to come to Yan’an? Do you absolutely
need to go to Shanghai? If you are going to Shanghai, how are you going? We
await detailed answers to these questions.
