To the Various Central Bureaus, etc.[1]

(December 10, 1943)

Next year's army support-the-government-and-love-the-people movement and the people's support-the-army movement should be scheduled to take place in the first month of the old lunar calendar, and should not be held in January of the solar calendar, so as to make use of the masses' custom of celebrating the old lunar new year. It should be stipulated that the entire first month of the old lunar calendar next year shall be the Support-the-Government-and-Love-the-People Month and the Support-the-Army Month, so that various localities and units may select one or two weeks within this month to hold this movement.
