Letter to Lin Zhe[1]

(March 15, 1943)

Comrade Lin Zhe:

Today, upon reading your article commemorating "March 15,"[2] I was quite moved. I am not very clear about the history of the Japanese revolution, but I earnestly wish to understand it. Moreover, for the cadres and Party members of the Chinese Party, it is also necessary to teach them some historical facts of the Japanese revolution. Therefore, I suggest you write more historical materials on the Japanese revolution and publish them in *Liberation*[3]. I hope you will give it some consideration.

I enjoy reading all your articles. At the same time, I also urge comrades to learn from your attitude of conducting objective analysis of things. Among us, there are too few who can analyze articles, and everywhere there is a flood of subjectivist bombastic talk
