To Luo Feng
(June 12, 1942)
Comrade Luo Feng:1
I have read your articles and I am returning them to you now.
I think the one about Gorky is good. I benefited a great deal from reading it.
However, the other articles are not really in harmony with this one. Although I
only read them once, some of them are not clear, while others seem to have
defects in their arguments. I hope that you will use the Marxist viewpoint to
assess your writings, for this will help you make progress. I do not know whether
it is proper to say so; please think about it!
With best wishes!
