Added passage on a material concerning the reactions of overseas Chinese to the danger of a split between the Kuomintang and the Communist Party

On the Kuomintang side, under the pressure of opposition from all quarters to its reactionary measures, although it will not alter its fundamental anti-communist plan, a larger rupture may yet be prevented. Only when the various intermediate and progressive forces inside and outside the Kuomintang, representing the national bourgeoisie and the petty bourgeoisie, intensify their pressure on the comprador-bourgeois elements can there be a possibility of improvement in the current situation.
