Greetings to the British People’s Congress[1]

(January 12, 1941)

The Communist Party of China extends its fraternal and warm salutations to the British People’s Congress, which is striving for democracy and peace amidst the daily expanding and intensifying European war, and wishes it success. The great Chinese nation has been waging the War of Resistance Against Japan for three and a half years. It will, with ever more united strength, fight to the end for the thorough liberation of the nation. It is hoped that the international unity between the Chinese and British nations will be further strengthened and consolidated.
