Telegram to Ye Ting and Xiang Ying[1]

The current situation is at a turning point. Whether we handle it properly or not has a great bearing on the future. We are determined to break out from the left flank, turn the situation around, and strive for a turn for the better. The troops in southern Anhui are to prepare to move to eastern Anhui with the permission of the Kuomintang.
