Over the past two years, under the direct guidance of the Central Committee, seventeen schools have been established, including the Anti-Japanese Military and Political University, the Shaanxi University, Party Schools, the Marx–Lenin Institute, the Lu Xun Academy of Arts, Youth Training Classes, Workers’ Schools, Health Schools, Communications Schools, training courses organized by the Organization Department, administrative personnel training classes, the Border Region Party School, the Lu Xun Teachers College, Border Region Middle Schools, Lu Xun Primary Schools, and children’s nurseries. The student bodies ranged from over ten thousand in the largest institutions to several hundred or even just a few dozen in the smaller ones. Several thousand cadres have been engaged in cadre education and training. More than thirty thousand students have either already graduated or are still in training. This represents a major achievement, unprecedented in the eighteen years since the founding of our movement. While it is not yet possible to discern significant practical accomplishments among these graduates, such results will become evident in a few years’ time.
