Here there are Communist Party members, Nationalist Party members, Christians, and Buddhists—everyone is welcome among us. We cannot force non-Communists to embrace communism; of course, Communist Party members do not practice religion and are instead expected to propagate the Party’s theories.

There is freedom of thought here. Previously, our wall newspapers carried only a single viewpoint, but from now on you may write whatever you like, as long as it supports the War of Resistance. Collaborators, however, will have no freedom of speech in this context. You are also free to write letters; we have not done well enough by you in this regard in the past, but that will be corrected going forward.

Politics here are democratic. Only collaborators are denied the right to come and go. One additional point is that we must ensure military centralization. Platoon leaders will henceforth be elected, but they must also receive formal appointment from the school—this is part of military centralization. Similarly, all leadership positions in the Salvation Propaganda Teams will be filled through democratic elections.

Struggle sessions are hereby abolished. At present, such sessions often involve arbitrarily labeling people with serious accusations, which is entirely wrong.

We have an opinion box here. The Communist Party stands by its word: we guarantee that whatever your views or concerns may be, you can submit them anonymously to the opinion box without fear of being branded or persecuted.

There is also a channel for lodging complaints. You may report superiors to their superiors below them, again anonymously, and we will ensure that your concerns reach the highest authorities of the school.

Of course, if a complaint is false or malicious, we have ways to investigate and determine the truth.
