Conversation with Guo Qi and Others[1]

(1937)

Teaching at the Anti-Japanese Military and Political University is very important. If you teach a class well, that means dozens of company commanders. What a great role can dozens of company commanders play when they go to the front? If you teach dozens of battalion commanders well, or dozens of regimental commanders, what a great role can they play when they go to the front? Everyone must resolutely make up their minds: to teach at the Anti-Japanese Military and Political University while alive, and to be buried on Qingliang Mountain when dead.
