Commemorating the Second Anniversary of the Anwu Youth Training Class

(October 1937)

The young people who bring fresh blood and vitality into the revolutionary ranks, whether they are Communist Party members or non-Party members, are all invaluable. Without them, the revolutionary ranks cannot develop, and the revolution cannot triumph. However, the natural shortcoming of young comrades is their lack of experience, and revolutionary experience must be gained by personally participating in revolutionary struggles, starting from the most grassroots work, and going through it earnestly and without the slightest hypocrisy for a number of years; only then will experience belong to those who once had none.
