Regarding the Nationalist Party Sending an Inspection Delegation to Northern Shaanxi

Telegram to Zhou Enlai[1]

(May 14, 1937)

Agree to their sending an inspection delegation, and strive to have it led by Zhang Chong. The purpose of the inspection should be to enhance unity, and there must absolutely be no manifestations that impede unity. Resolutely oppose the entry of Kang Ze[2] or any other renegades; elements who are not renegades but harbor intentions to sabotage must also be firmly rejected.
