To Peng Dehuai and Others[1]

(March 5, 1937)

Request Zhou to explain the reinforcement matter to Gu Zhutong and Zhang Chong tomorrow or the day after, particularly explaining the urgent demand of the Fourth Army and the Thirty-first Army for western reinforcement. If Gu telegraphs orders to the Two Mas to cease hostilities, or sends someone to take the opportunity to go to Qinghai to persuade the Two Mas, our army will halt midway.
