Sixth, when the aforementioned conditions are sufficiently guaranteed, restore Chiang Kai-shek’s freedom and, under the aforementioned conditions, support the unification of China and a united stand against Japan.

(7) Establish contact with Whampoa officers in Shaanxi and Gansu, such as Hu Zongnan, Fan Songfu, Dong Zhao, and others.
(8) You should, in your capacity as a representative of the Communist Party, openly engage with Chiang, Chen, T.V. Soong, Yan, Yu, and others, based on the aforementioned conditions, to negotiate and mediate between the two sides.
