Work Policy for the Various Army Corps Now[1]

Take ten days as the time for educating the troops, summing up experience, and preparing for new actions. Each unit, in accordance with its own circumstances, shall immediately formulate concrete measures for military education, political education, reorganizing the structure, and summing up the experience of operations in Shanxi. The basic slogans for political explanation and agitation: Oppose the traitor Chiang Kai-shek’s disruption of the anti-Japanese rear area, smash the traitor’s attacks on the Shaanxi-Gansu-Ningxia Soviet Area, vigorously expand the Shaanxi-Gansu Soviet Area, the anti-Japanese base area, and strive for rapid engagement in operations against Japan. Within ten days, the Military Commission shall convene a conference of cadres at the front army level and above, and the army corps and armies shall each convene a conference to celebrate the victory and mourn Comrade Liu Zhidan.
