Intelligence: According to recent reports from defectors who came over from the east bank: 1. The 66th Division under Yang Xiaou is in the area of Linfen, Daning, Pu County, Jie County, Zhaocheng, and Hongdong. 2. The 67th Division under Yu Zhenhe is in northern Shanxi and Datong. 3. The 68th Division under Wang Jingguo is in Suiyuan. 4. The 69th Division under Fu Zuoyi is also said to be at Pingding on the Zhengding-Taiyuan Railway. 5. The 70th Division under Yang Aiyuan is in the provincial capital. 6. The 71st Division under Yang Yaofen is in Fenyang; its Wen Yuru Brigade is in Zhongyang and Shilou; its Huang Keyou Brigade is in Wubao and Songjiachuan. 7. The 72nd Division under Li Shengda: its Chen Changjie Brigade is in Yihe Town, Suide; the remainder appears to be in the area of Jia County. 8. The 101st Division appears to be concurrently commanded by Sun Chu and seems to be in the area of Xing County, Lin County, and Qikou; Liulin has one regiment of its Ma Yanshou Brigade. 9. Two other independent brigades, comprising four regiments, are in Suiyuan and northwestern Shanxi. 10. According to a report from the Second Section, a part of a certain division is in Changzhi and Zhangzi in southern Shanxi.
