To Lin Biao and Others[1]

One company of the enemy defending Hejiawa below Xinguan, having been propagandized by our guerrilla forces on the 21st, came out in full to surrender their arms. The tally of captured weapons is as follows: two light machine guns, two heavy machine guns, eight submachine guns, thirty-five rifles, two pistols, several thousand rounds of ammunition, over one hundred hand grenades, and more than seventy officers and soldiers from the company commander down taken prisoner.
