Telegram to Lin Biao and Others[1]

(February 18, 1936)

A. On the 19th, the entire First Army Corps of the Red Army shall rest (the First Division shall advance to Haijiagou), and on the 20th, it shall advance to the area of Goukou and Puyanggou. Lin shall designate appropriate stationing locations, with the principle of neither exposing our forces nor hindering the river crossing. B. The main force of the Fifteenth Army Corps of the Red Army shall concentrate in the vicinity of Gaojiacun, with Xu designating the stationing locations. The Eighty-First Division shall advance to Yuanjiagou and await orders. C. Complete all preparations for the river crossing within three days. Commence the river crossing at 20:00 hours on the 21st.
