Lin, Nie, Peng, Li, Ye, and pass on to Yang:

(a) The First and Second Columns and the sub-units directly under the detachment will rest in place for one day tomorrow (the 3rd) and continue the southward march on the 4th, each covering sixty to seventy li to camp. (b) Make straw sandals, wash clothes, bathe, and replenish provisions. (c) The masses along the route give a warm welcome; be prepared to respond to their slogans, and pay attention to what is to be said upon meeting the Fifteenth Army Corps. (d) See that the troops are clean and orderly. (e) Where the rear has actually reached, if there is no money to buy firewood and vegetables, distribute 200 yuan of Northern Shaanxi Soviet notes, giving each person six fen per day.
