Proposal of a Six-Point Program for Anti-Japanese Resistance to the Soldiers of the White Army

(1934)

1. Demand to march north to resist Japan; immediately cease attacks on the Soviet areas; carry out the principle of Chinese not fighting Chinese, not fighting the Red Army; turn your guns toward Japanese imperialism and the traitors!

2. Demand freedom of assembly, association, speech, and action for soldiers resisting Japan; organize soldiers’ anti-Japanese federations; decide on major matters of anti-Japanese resistance and issues concerning the soldiers themselves!

3. Improve the livelihood and conditions of soldiers; demand the payment of all back wages; oppose beatings and scoldings; oppose fascist oppression and slaughter!

4. Reach an agreement with the Red Army; each side send representatives; conclude an alliance to cease hostilities and resist Japan!

5. Kill the officers who forbid soldiers to resist Japan; mutiny and go over to the Red Army, which is truly resisting Japan!

6. Do not burn or kill the workers and peasants in the Soviet areas; oppose the Kuomintang’s suppression of the popular anti-Japanese movement; unite with compatriots throughout the country to resist Japan in unison!

Soldier brothers of the White Army!

If you do not want to be slaves of a conquered nation, if you want to save China, you must immediately unite and carry out this six-point anti-Japanese program! The Red Army is ready at all times to welcome you to send representatives to come forward and jointly conclude an alliance to cease hostilities and resist Japan. Let us all unite and march north to fight Japan!

White Army soldiers and the Red Army unite!

Down with Japanese imperialism!

Down with the traitorous Kuomintang!
