Resolution of the Central Executive Committee of the Chinese Soviet Republic on the Allocation of Land to Rural Workers and the Retention of Public Fields[1]

(March 1, 1933)

When workers of various trades in the villages demand the allocation of land, regardless of whether they are unemployed or not, land of equal quantity and quality shall be allocated to them in the same manner as land is allocated to hired farmhands, poor peasants, and middle peasants. In all new areas and areas where land has not yet been thoroughly redistributed, with the consent of the masses, an appropriate amount of public fields shall be retained for use in public undertakings, such as repairing bridges and repairing ferry boats.
