Telegram to Zhou Enlai, Zhu De, and Wang Jiaxiang[1]

(September 3, 1932)

The enemy forces have now arrived at the three points of Dongpi, Donggang, and Shengang, and appear likely to advance southward. It is proposed that the First Front Red Army should concentrate along the line of Dongshao, Wucun, and Luokou, and resolutely strike the enemy advancing south. However, our army is currently quite fatigued and should have two or more days of rest and undertake large-scale movements.
