Directive from the First Front Army of the Red Army to the Third Army Corps[1]

(November 16, 1930)

Waiting until the enemy forces reach Ji’an and disperse before attacking is truly an erroneous disposition. Although the time for the entire front army to strike has not yet matured, each army corps, whenever an opportunity arises, should employ every possible method to defeat the enemy’s advancing units one by one.
