To attack Changsha, first capture Liuyang[1]

(August 3, 1930)

The enemy in Nanchang, entrenched in defensive positions, still dares not advance against us. The troops of He Jian of Hunan moved from Changsha toward Pingjiang on July 19. Based on the changes in the enemy situation, it has been decided to first capture Liuyang, then attack Changsha, so as to threaten Wuhan.
