To the Provincial Peasant Association[1]

(March 14, 1927)

Dear Sirs,

I have recently read in the Changsha newspapers that the Jimeitang Press has reprinted the book Peasant Series. This book was originally intended for reference by the students of our institute and the special commissioners of the peasant movement from various provinces, and it is not for sale. If reprinting is desired, the following three conditions must be met: 1. Your esteemed association shall review the content and exclude from printing those volumes that have become obsolete, such as The Current Strategy of the Hunan Peasant Movement. 2. The price must not be too high and shall only cover the costs of printing and paper. 3. It must be reviewed by your esteemed association to ensure that no errors are allowed. Otherwise, reprinting is not permitted. I request that your esteemed association handle this matter on my behalf.
