Our association was founded in early summer of the seventh year, with the aim of mutual assistance and encouragement among its members.
It has now been in existence for nearly three years.
Although its formal structure remains imperfect, its spirit has remained consistent.
Nevertheless, some members have at times failed to fully grasp this spirit.
Some are so preoccupied with other matters that they cannot devote their attention to the association; others feel more affinity for other groups and thus show little attachment to ours; still others lack any aspiration for self-improvement or interest in communal life; and there are those whose conduct does not meet with the approval of the majority of members.
In view of such circumstances, we deem that, despite being officially listed as members, these individuals are in fact incapable of engaging in genuine mutual aid and mutual encouragement.
To safeguard the association’s spirit, we must therefore no longer recognize them as members.
We also hope that, in the future, when recommending new members, you will ensure that none of the above conditions apply.
May our association enjoy a bright future.
