“Revolutionary factions, unite!” This phrase encapsulates the ongoing struggle between those who continue the revolution and those who abandon it. Even setting aside violations of resolutions from the Third Plenary Session of the Central Committee and breaches of legal procedures—such as failing to convene under the auspices of the Central Secretariat—considering only the facts: why would anyone refuse to hold a meeting in Guangzhou, at the height of the revolutionary tide, and instead choose to meet in Beijing, under Duan Qirui’s control? What does this signify?

The Nationalist Party’s Central Executive Committee dispatched an urgent telegram to Beijing strongly condemning this move. More than ten central committee members, including Wang Jingwei and Tan Zuo’an, subsequently issued a nationwide circular outlining the key points of their rebuke to all party organizations at every level. Additionally, the Central Committee released a detailed notice enumerating the counter-revolutionary actions of right-wing party members over the past two years, warning comrades not to be misled.

These developments were reported in last week’s issue of our newspaper.

Over the past week, the Nationalist Party’s Central Committee has received a total of eleven communications from various regions opposing the Beijing conference, and further opposition is certain to spread across the country.

For in China today, there is no path other than revolution. Any steadfast revolutionary will never align themselves with the right wing, abandoning the glorious revolutionary stance to serve as an instrument for imperialists and warlords.

We anticipate that party members nationwide will not only refuse to comply but will also respond by forging an even greater unity.

“Revolutionary factions, unite!” was a slogan championed by Comrade Liao Zhongkai, while “Those who want revolution should go to the left” was advocated by Comrade Wang Jingwei.

Today, these two slogans are bound to become widely adopted among revolutionary comrades and the masses throughout the nation.

Our knowledge of the growing chorus of dissent against the right-wing Beijing conference emerging from different parts of the country convinces us of the inevitability of their widespread dissemination. 130
