We ought to champion struggle against society. …… Rebel against the old society! Rather than die by suicide, it is better to fight and be slain in the cause. If the goal remains unattainable, then let us cleave our bellies open and make a final stand, perishing like jade that shatters—such would be the utmost strength and courage under heaven, and nothing could impress the human mind more profoundly!
