Tonight’s moon
Pours its light till it pierces the farthest bounds of earth;
Its pure radiance fails not to set the green hills aglow.

Yet the clear stream still rushes down to the rocky shore,
The cockcrows have ceased,
And through the long white pavilion echo the neighs of horses and the voices of travelers.
