STATEMENT*1.
Statement.
15 June 1911. [Paris.]
I fully align myself with Comrade Alexandrov, as I have repeatedly stated at the meetings of the Central Committee members.
N. Lenin.
1. N. A. Semashko, in protest against the rejection by the Menshevik majority of the ZBCK’s proposal to convene a plenary session of the Central Committee, resigned from the ZBCK on 27 May. In connection with this step, N. Semashko submitted a written statement to the meeting of Central Committee members. As the treasurer of the ZBCK, Semashko also handed over the ZBCK’s cash box, complete with financial reports and all relevant documents, to the meeting.
L. Iogihes (“Tyshka”), in response to this development, submitted a written statement to the Central Committee members, declaring that he “resolutely condemns the manner in which Comrade Alexandrov withdrew from the ZBCK.” In contrast to Tyshka’s statement, Lenin, for his part, presented his own declaration of solidarity with Semashko.
