Dear colleague! You remind me once again of the address of an acquaintance. I had already sent you this address when you asked for it once. I remember very well that I appended it at the very end of a long letter. Please check if possible. However, it would be simpler to repeat the address. Here it is: Herrn Kurt Lauschner, Beuthen (Ober-Schlesien).

Piekarerstr. 19/III, Germany. Inside, it is necessary to add: for Mr. Horsing: Fur Herrn Horsing (there are two Beuthens in Germany, so the addition is necessary:

* - This is decided. Ed.

"Ober-Schlesien")...* received. Thank you very much. Dan's manuscript has also been received.

I am extremely surprised that today, having received from you both "Pravda" and a bunch of black newspapers, I did not receive the Thursday "Nevsky Golos." For a number of important reasons, it is extremely necessary for me to have the outgoing "Nevsky Golos" immediately. If it has not come out, please do not hesitate to write a few words about it. It is extremely important for me to know as soon as possible whether it came out on August 23, Thursday (as "Nevsky Golos" promised on August 17), and if it did, to receive a copy. Incidentally, I sent you a list of the missing numbers of "Zvezda," "Nevskaya Zvezda," "Pravda," and "Zhivoye Delo" some time ago.

You have not yet replied whether you can send them. Meanwhile, a mutual acquaintance informed me recently that you have complete sets of "Zvezda" and "Nevskaya Zvezda." Please let me know if the list I sent is still available and if you can send the missing numbers. I take this opportunity to congratulate Comrade Vitimsky (I hope it will not be a bother for you to pass this letter to him) on his remarkably successful article in today's "Pravda" (No. 98) 109. The topic is very timely and developed in a brief but clear form excellently. It would be good to occasionally recall, quote, and explain in "Pravda" Shchedrin and other writers of the "old" Narodnik democracy. For the readers of "Pravda" - for 25,000 - this would be appropriate, interesting, and would provide a different perspective and voice on current issues of workers' democracy.

What is the circulation of "Pravda"? Do you not think that a monthly statistics, even if brief (circulation, name of the city and region), would be useful? What considerations could there be against publishing it? If there are no special considerations, it seems to me that it should be published.

I almost forgot. We have received a series of complaints from various places abroad that "Pravda" does not arrive either with a subscription or when money is sent for special issues. I am not receiving it correctly now. Therefore, undoubtedly,

there is something wrong with the expedition. Please take more energetic measures. Look at the letters from abroad regarding subscriptions and get to the bottom of it. Send 1 copy of "Pravda" and "Nevskaya Zvezda" to the following address: Frl. Slutzky: Katherinenstr. 8 g. H. II (bei Worte), Halensee, Berlin.
