TELEGRAM TO THE COMMISSAR OF ORSHA STATION.
Orsha
To the Commissar of Orsha Station,
Ivashchenkov
[July 6, 1918]
I thank you for granting passage to 36 railcars bound for Germany—this is for our impoverished former prisoners of war. I urge you to refute all vile slanders and to bear in mind that we must do everything in our power to aid our former prisoners of war. [419]
Chairman of the Council of People’s Commissars, Lenin.
